These days, more and more people tend to change their jobs and living places many times during their lifetimes. Personally, I think the advantages far outweigh the disadvantages for society in some cases, as it provides people with opportunities for personal and professional development.
On the one hand, there are some sound reason why, behind the job and career change. The main argument is that many people, especially young people, chose jobs during their schooling that did not match their personality and characteristics. To explain, which in turn creates a number of problems, because young people cannot adapt well to their work, which may lead to changing their careers in the future. Consequently, as a result, it can cause conflicts between colleagues. That is why, many tend to job-hop to find a better working environment.
On the other hand, changing jobs and careers can bring more advantages compared to its demerits. For example, if employees face some problems and shortcomings at work, they can change jobs and culture when working in different and new companies, hindering the employment prospects of young employees. However, the positive sides underneath are more significant as these young people are able to explore their passion when put under many new challenges to showcase their ability. Besides, young job hoppers can enhance many different skills like problem-solving and communication skills from those new experiences, enabling them to be competent workers and facilitating their career advancement in the future.
In conclusion, despite the time-consuming experience during the period of switching jobs, I contend that the advantages behind this trend are more significant as young people can discover their career passion and enhance their personal growth through new challenges.
