In general, it is readily apparent that the figure for working women stays constant throughout all countries in the survey, except for Egypt. In addition, the United States and Australia have the greatest proportion of female managers, whereas other nations have the reverse situation.
Regarding female workers, Japan stands out with the highest percentage at 48%, which is 2% greater than in the US. Meanwhile, 42% of Australian women are part of the workforce in comparison with 41% in Sri Lanka. Egypt recorded the lowest proportion of working women at 20%.
Moving to female managers, 43% of women in Australia and the United States take on managerial roles, which is the highest data. Following this is the figure for Japan with 17% of women playing a role as a manager, which is 5% higher than the same category in Egypt. Finally, in Sri Lanka, only nearly one–tenth of women are working at this level.
