A lot of people believe that teaching children about health lifestyle and workout is parents’ responsibility, teachers should not be spending their precious time to educate students about physical workout and extra curriculum activities. Here, I am totally disagreeing with this opinion and would like to support with some relevant examples.
To embark upon, there is no doubt parents are first teacher of the child and being their role model, they instill moral values and teach them to follow good and healthy lifestyle. However, youngers spend most the time with their teachers in the school so mentors should equally contribute to educate about healthy morning schedule. For instance, encouraging children to participate in extra curriculum activities such as, yoga, meditation and sports and games to promote their physical well-being.
Strengthening further, school have expert sports teachers who trained students according to their ability, strength and interest, whereas parents can only teach them basic things at home. However, if children learn at school from professional trainers that helps to choose their career in same field according to their interest. Additionally, learning with other students at school will helps to boost their confident and acquire extra skills like collaboration, time management, discipline and teamwork.
To conclude, schools have more burden to teach students academic lesson but along with that they must teach them about positive lifestyle that will give them a break from busy academic schedule and help them to rejuvenate their mind and body. Last but not the least, school is the best place to teach student life lesson.
