Note: Both the topic and the essay were created by one of our users.

It has been argued that children’s overall growth and creativity skills will be developed by doing fun activities with them rather than reading. I firmly agree with this view as enjoyable activities can benefit children in multiple ways to improve their personal growth.

To commence with, no doubt, reading can also enhance critical thinking and can stimulate imagination in the children. However, doing fun activities with them will have a greater impact on them which will last for long term. To be more precise, playing indoor and outdoor games will develop their communication skills. As a result it will become easier for them to socialise with other people as well as with their peers. For instance, playing a sport like cricket will encourage young ones to interact with other players while playing this game.

Furthermore, involving young ones in different activities will make them learn valuable lessons of the life, which will assist them to survive in the real world. That is, to have empathy towards people, healthy competition spirit, teamwork, discipline, and so on. For instance, if children are encouraged to play or take participation in competitions, then it will definitely foster overall development by learning all the above mentioned skills. Moreover, engaging offsprings in multiple fun activities will also reduce their academic stress, as nowadays they are under a lot of pressure to excel in the academics.

To conclude, the young ones will be able to develop skills such as communication, empathy, teamwork, healthy competition spirit, and so on by engaging in fun activities, which will not only foster their personal growth but will also assist them to survive in this contemporary era.
