These days, computers are developing day by day, and it creates different arguments in the mind of users. Some people believe that specializing in the foreign languages is not necessary. That is why nowadays people can translate more effectively with the help of computers. I completely disagree with this opinion and in this essay, I will support my argument with examples.
First and foremost, users cannot utilize computers everywhere. For example, while walking the street if any foreigner asks a question to citizens, they cannot use the computer for answering the question. They will face a problem while helping this tourist if they do not the language. In addition, computers have no feelings and if people say the same expression with computer, it will be a bit artificial. It is very hard to explain your exact opinions to artificial intelligence. Also, it is a good case that people can communicate foreigners without any computer or translator.
On the other hand, there is an argument that learning a foreign language is a waste of time. Computers have a great advantage at saving time. People can translate articles in foreign languages to their language. They can also receive and send emails in foreign languages with the help of the improvement at the translation level of computers.
To sum up, I strongly believe that although learning a foreign language can be difficult at the beginnings, it will be help you everywhere after a little time. So, people will not depend on computers and translators anymore.
