According to the alarming statistics, the percentage of obesity is dramatically increasing worldwide daily and it makes serious difficulties in front of medical system. A group of people suggests that in order combat this phenomenon more educational courses should be included in school syllabus.
On the one hand, involving health care related subject in education program can significantly contributes to raising awareness about our eating habits and avoid unhealthy lifestyle. Nowadays, advertisement campaigns of wide range of products, especially related to fast food chains and sugary drinks misleading and encouraging people to consume harmful meals. This strategy especially targets and entices children, and their parents are exposed reluctantly to purchase junk foods to make them happy. However, if during primary school years this lessons would be carried out then likelihood of these desires getting decrease gradually and prevent weight gain of kids.
On the other hand, physical exercises are not only important in the aspect of being fit, but also necessary for mental health of students. Currently, the scale of stress and anxiety is expanding rapidly among school aged people. Hence, in order to be relieved of a burden of hectic schedule and lessons, there should be exercise hour at least twice a whole week. Furthermore, educational institutions can held variety of sport competitions among classes and promote active participation of pupils.
To sum up, I again want to reiterate my viewpoint by highlighting that organization of these kind of physical lessons in educational institutions are beneficial both in terms of anticipating obesity and ensuring sanity of school aged children.
