The curable illness is causing deaths of several people who are from poor nations because medical treatment is out of range for them. Yes, I believe that medicine companies must take some actions like, extra discounted price and more appropriate medicines for the patients in account to lower drug’s price in these countries.
Firstly, pharma industries should reduce the prices of medicines for easy availability of poor patients in terms of giving them some additional relief in price. People from lower class families usually work hard for our country as they maintain the agricultural field etc, they must be awarded with huge amount of discounts because they do their job for nation selflessly. The extra discount on the common drugs (medicines) should be given to the people from such type of background for their betterment.
Secondly, medical companies should give the medicines that are more suitable for particular patients in order to make it more efficient and economic in these countries.The medication for the patient with severe pain should be appropriate as prescribed by the physician or doctor for speedy recovery of that patient. For example, the pain killer suggested by the doctor must be given to the patient who is suffering from it. The pharma companies should provide the most match medicines for the specific patients.
