In the north of Brampton road, there is a railway station which the track follows under 2 roads and heads to the north east direction. There is also a Built-up area that includes homes and shops, and it is placed in the eastern side and covers the town centre and railway station.

In the future, the junction between Brampton road and A1 road will be blocked. However, the road runs from west to the east and will be joined with the Brampton road, creating an entrance to the town centre. The airfield is going to be replaced, and leave the area for the future construction of an industrial estate with a sub-railway track connected to the main one. There are no changes in the Town centre, Built-up area and the railway station throughout the replacement. On the south side, the A1
