The maps illustrate the changes that have happened to a small park and its layouts in 1980 and present view.
Overall, the park has witnessed a dramatic transformation, resulting in more facilities. Notably, the biggest alterations have been the removal of walls and the decreased number of trees planted on the northeast part of the site.
Looking at the park depicted in 1980, the area was more greenish, with many trees on the top-right corner of the map. There used to be a line of walls surrounding the whole park, with two gates, one was headed to the west, while the latter was in the south. Moreover, there were two huge areas dedicated to flowers on either side of a path situated in the centre of the park. Lastly, a medium-sized pond was located on the western side of the area, with a couple of benches on three sides.
When it comes to the present day, the park has become a place for a variety of activities. Firstly, a noticeable change has been the removal of walls, which greatly contributes to the stunning view of the park. In addition to this, after the flowers on both sides of the park have disappeared, some bushes have been planted in the southwest and the flowers that used to be in the southeast corner of the park have been converted to a new playground area where people can play football. Another new facility is a picnic site, including a few picnic tables and a barbecue, a type of roaster. Regarding minor changes, there is now a wider network of pathways stretching over four directions. The only place that remained untouched was the pond with some benches.
