It is believed by some that robots are a vital part of human’s future progression; however, others believe they are hazardous and may have a lot of negative impacts on people’s life. I completely agree that robots are not safe and may cause several problems in the future.
On the one hand, some people are in the opinion that robots may threat human’s freedom by limiting their power. In the future, governments may use these machines to control people and limit their access to certain context like social media. Another reason that some people are not pleased by introducing these machines is that they may become incontrollable and do unethical behavior. In other words, robots do not have any emotion or feeling compared to humans. Consequently, it would be easier to be violent towards others especially during wars.
On the other hand, some people are of the opinion that robots are essential in the improvement of the future. They believe these machines can be beneficial for people in many ways. For instance, they may be able to help children in their learning process and act as teachers for them. Additionally, robots can have an important role in the enhancement of health care system by taking care of patients regularly in place of nurses; therefore, health assistants will have enough time to spend on other important tasks such as accurate diagnosis.
To sum up, while people may vary in their opinions, I think that robots would affect our life in a negative way by increasing the violence behaviors in the society.
