While some people who claim that young people should choose what they like to pursue as a job, there are individuals disagree and believe that the youths ought to be carefully assessment based on the reality to make the work decisions. Although I understand why the personal preferences are essential, choosing a job should heavily rely on other aspects of life.
Firstly, if young people can do the things they love, they are likely to be have more passion and dedication to the work. Especially job with the intense working environment and special skills, without liking, people would easily drained then reign. Therefore, people need to avoid what they are not comfortable with at the first place. For example, someone who is not comfortable in communication and flying so regularly be a fly attendant will eventually make them feel burn out.
Meanwhile, there is crucial to have awareness to realistic factors. Before having the opportunity to working as they pleased, somes have to do something they don not want like a part-time job to make a living, such as feeding themselves, paying college institutions or renting an apartment. Besides, its the customers or the bosses who give payment. Thus, the activities which does not being any valuable or not actually important to the society earn litterally nothing or just a little amount. That’s why young people should consider the market trends in order to look for high-wage jobs. Lastly, the interests may eventually gone because the expectation for the work may not meet the reality. Due to that reason, choosing based on the personal abilities can make the job easier and more sustainable.
In conclusion, both sides of the contention have their own rights. In my opinion, leaning towards the reality is good but they should also take the preferences and abilities into account at the same time.
