Overall, it is readily apparent that Frenton town has witnessed several changes which includes redevelopment of theatre with cinema and addition of some flats in the north direction.
Turning to the details, in 1990, there was a café and park on the right side of high street but it was converted into hotel and golf course in 2012. Moreover, houses in the east direction were made into blocks of flats. In 2012, there was a supermarket in south- east of Frenton which was constructed on the place of shops. New flats were built in north, adjacent to high street in 2012.
Moving further, area occupied by hospital in 1990 was less as compared to 2012, in the latter year it was expanded. In 1990, there were a playing fields with trees in north direction, which were later cut- down and replaced with block of flats. Library adjoining high street, on the left side and school in north – east of Frenton remained at same place in both years. In 1990, there was a bank in south of school ,which was transformed into a restaurant in 2012.
