Some people believe that the government should sponsor arts less and focus more on hiring budget on education. I am taking a neutral side because I do not think that statement is right but it is not wrong either.
From my point of view, art plays a crucial role in the modern world. Without the artwork people would not became fully developed because as far as I can see, young children are not well educated in the topic of arts. Due to this educational gaps in infants’ minds, I can assume that they are not going to be smart enough to compare themselves to the wise men of previous time. I think, it is vital to know that art was a main sign of intelligence few decades ago and for now people want the ministry to lower budget on a worldwide historical culture. In my opinion, it is foolish to think that way totally categorically.
On the other hand, speaking of modern art, it goes without saying that it could not be compared to artwork of previous decades. In my honest opinion, modern arts can be lowered with budget because of its nonsense. People cannot see any sense in the blank canvas or in the easel without one leg, it is clear absurdity compared to old times when artists used to make masterpieces. My best guess is that modern crafts are open to be lowered with the budget.
To sum up, I think that old times masterpieces like “Mona Lisa” by Leonardo da Vinci or “The Starry Night” by Vincent van Gogh, should be educated and showed to children in order to develop full mindset and brain. Whilst contemporary artworks should be banned and money can be allocate to education.
