Over the past years, there has been a dramatic increase in the consumption of out-of-season food more than ever before. This had sparked a debate about whether eating unseasonal food has more drawbacks or benefits.
From my perspective, the demerits of it outweigh the advantages.
One of the primary advantages is the variety and convenience of seasonal foods. To be more presice, people have the opportunity to what a variety of foods throughout the year new foods. For example, pure fruits like apple, banana or orange may aksi exist in cold climates. Also, the availability of tropical fruits and vegetables also has a positive effect on peopleʼs health. Additionaly, out-of-season foods boost countries economies and internatsional trade, which allows countries to finansial benefits. Also, imported food creates Jobs in transportation, logistika and retail.
Nonetheles, there are notable disadvantages and considerations to this trend. One concern is out-of-season foods negative effect on peopleʼs health. To be more presice, if people consume out-of-season foods which may be negative effect on their health. Because, everybodyʼs health may be different . Furthermore, local farmers can not produce seasonal foos and compete with other countries. Additionaly, out-of-season foods are extremely expensive. Id seasonal foods are expensive, people can not afford to but them. As a result, this will cause finansial damage to the state.
In conclusion, global food consumption may offer variety and convenience, but is negative envoronmental impact and harm to local agriculture are significant drawbacks. Therefore, the disadvantages outweigh the advantages and we should strive to support local, sustainable food systems.
