Nowadays, the internet facilitate the way we communicate, everyone can talk with anyone in the world with few clicks. This advantage lets someones think that making friends will be easy than never before. I think that this though is false and the next paragraphs will discuss deeply this subject.
The fact that the communication is easy than never before cannot be denied. Therefore, anyone have the access to the internet can talk to new persons from different countries, basically that is the concept of social media. For example a person from Japan can creates an account on Facebook and talk with another unknown person in Morocco, share his culture and language, Chat everyday and send photos, and then one day they will meet in somewhere and so they become friends. This example is not an illusion but a lot of real stories are made with the same way. Thus, yes anyone can communicates with new persons and makes relations.
Yet, this relations are not always defined as friendships. In other terms, being friends is being able to trust each other, this condition aren’t satisfied in a long-distance relationship because there isn’t any situation to test the other part if is a trusted person or not, the relation is based on messages and maybe some temporary emotions. Additionally, this case is the more probable and there exist a lot of stories and films about scam situations. For example, in Morocco there was thousand of victims in previous years where a mafia in Thailand start talking with Moroccans and tell them to come to there country and they will be friends and works together, and then they force them to work as slaves.
In summary, the online communication is an advantage that facilitate our life style, but I disagree with the fact that people will always be able to make friends because of its dark side and I advice to think twice before starting talking with an unknown person.
