Well, the experience I'm going to describe is the first time I used English in real-life communication. I still have a vivid picture of that morning when I came across some foreign visitors while wandering around Hoan Kiem Lake. They seemed to be lost and didn't know how to get to their next destination. Suddenly, they came and asked me, "Excuse me, could you show us how to get to the nearest bus stop?" At that point, I was terrified at the thought of having to speak English because I had only learned it in the classroom, so I didn't know whether I could communicate in real life. I felt my tongue tighten and hardly managed to say, "Let me see." After five minutes checking the map, I showed them the way, which included directions in English. I worried that they didn't understand me. It was a nightmare. However, to my surprise, they all understood and thanked me a lot. We also had some small communication, and I picked up some interesting vocabulary. This experience gave me a huge boost of confidence. It showed me that communication isn't about perfection; it's about being clear and mutual understanding. This was a turning point in my language learning journey.
