The bar chart shows the production levels of four fruits, namely oranges, apples, pears and peaches in one Australian state from 1995 to 2015.
Overall, the fruit production for all types experienced an upward trend except pears which saw a decline. In addition, apples stood out among others with consistently higher numbers throughout all observed years.
In 1995, after starting at 80 million kg, the amount of apples experienced a significant rise to 119 million kg which made it the most produced fruit. The number of oranges underwent a minimal growth from 66 to approximately 84 million kg over the given period.
By contrast, despite beginning the period at a high level (138 million kg), the amount of pears bucked the trend, dropping to 118 million kg in 2005 before continuing its trajectory, reaching 80 kg million in the final year. After starting at just below 40 million kg, the figure for peaches saw a small but steady rise over the decades, increasing to 65 million kg in 2015.
