The bar chart illustrates the weight of the fruits( oranges, apples, pears, peaches), which was produced in Australia over a two-decade period from 1995 to 2015.
Overall, it’s clear that, in terms of weight, the amount of pears presented a downward trend throughout the entire period. In contrast, the figure for oranges, apples, and peaches showed a ceiling trend.
In 1995, pears were grown and harvested at nearly 140000 tons, which was by far the largest quantity among given four. By comparison, the figure for oranges stood at roughly 72000 tons, while that for apples was at 80 million kilograms . However, peaches were cultivated at only a negligible amount, just under 40 million kg.
By 2015, the production of pears decreased swiftly, dropping to 8000 tons. In comparison, production of oranges rose consistently, reaching approximately 9,000 tons. Somewhat similarly, production of apples reached just above 9,000 tons after a significant growth. Peaches production exhibited a sharp jump, reaching a peak of 9,000 tons.
