The bar chart illustrates the production of four types of fruits (oranges, apples, pears, and peaches) in one Australian state in period between 1995 and 2015 The unit of measurement is million kilograms.
Overall, the amount of fruit production was unstable across the years and fruit types. Although, the production of most fruits have grown around 10-20 million kg each year, the amount of pears were dramatically decreasing over the same period.
In 1995, the popularity of pears has reached it’s peak about 140 million kg and then never came to this number again. Oranges and peaches were produced in small quantities at approximately 60-70 million kg, however in 2015, they have reached their highest point. By 2005, Apple production significantly rose to almost 120 million, in contrast to trend of oranges and pears. In addition, to compare with apple production, the number of pears produced dropped to around 115 million kg, while the amount of oranges and peaches were increased to about 60-80 million kg.
In 2015, apple trend became the leading one, while pear popularity dramatically dropped to approximately 85 million kg. However, output of another types of fruit wasn’t on the same numbers. It’s slightly increased in period between 1995 to 2015.
