The bar graph illustrates the percentages of using the Internet in Taiwan by four different ages less than 15, 15-30 years , 31 to 50 years ,and 50 or more from 1998 to 2000.
Overall, it can be seen that people who are from 16-30 and 31 to 50 years were both of them during the whole period of years witnessed a slight decrease in using the internet,while the ages from less than 15 and 50 or more saw increased in using the internet during the whole period of years.
To begin with, those people who are from 16-30 and 31 to 50 years experienced an increase in searching on the Internet in 1998 starting at 53% and 41% respectively and ending at 44% and 37% respectively in 2000.
In contrast, people who are less than 15 and 50 or more rose steadily in using the Internet stood at 2% in 1998 and for those people who are from 50 or more was doubled to 4% and ended with almost the same proportion 9% and 10% respectively in 2000.
