Dear Robin,

How are you? It’s been a long time since we last met. I am happy that you reached out to me when you had an issue at work.

I faced a similar situation in my first job as a Construction Coordinator, so I can genuinely interpret your emotion. Infact, I think most people had these types of circumstances, especially when they embark on a new occupation abroad.

As you know, I had a very intimidating colleague in my team. He wasn’t cooperative and trustworthy. Besides this, he always made excuses for not finishing the scheduled tasks on time. I ended up having a bad impression infront of my manager because of his bad behaviour. I wasn’t able to even sleep during that time due to stress.

If I were you, I will inform the manager regarding the team member’s bad behaviour, especially their racism talks, because a good working environment plays a vital role in a person’s productivity and efficiency. Moreover, you can directly talk to your coworkers about it before reaching out to the Supervisor.
