Band 7+: Although you have never formally studied computing, you have always been interested in computers. You have just read about a computer course that really interests you, but it is only for people who have completed an elementary course. Write a letter to the college enrolment officer. Dear Sir/Mam,

My name is Sahil and I am currently working as a Control Technician in JCI. Recently I came to know about the computer course offered by Algoma College which caught my attention. I am writing this letter to express my interest in taking this subject.

As I grew up, computer played an important role in my development in studies and career. My parents provided a second hand computer when I was a child as they were facing financial issues. I gained my computing knowledge using online tools such as you tube and recorded seminars.

However, I do not have any certification in elementary computer course. I completely understand that it is mandatory for this course to have prior certification but I would like to assure you that I persist all necessary skills that is required for qualification. If required, I am also keen to write an entrance test to prove my skills.

If any special arrangement can be made for me in order to consider my application than it would be greatly appreciated.
