In contrast, Alberta’s percentage of international graduates dropped from 5.7% to 4.4% by 2006, whereas Ontario’s percentage climbed from 3% to 6%. Manitoba and Newfoundland and Labrador both experienced significant increases, rising from 3.5% to 7%.
Notably, only Alberta saw a decline in the percentage of international students, while other regions witnessed an increase of either 2 or 4 percentage points.
