Overall, it can be seen that the majority of fats and sodium were eaten at dinner, while added sugar meals were consumed in snacks. Lunch also had a lot of fats and sodium, whereas breakfast had the lowest percentage for all three nutrients.
As for sodium the highest consumption was dinner and lunch 43% and 29%. In contrast, breakfast and snacks had a similar percentage of 14%. However, the saturated fats had close figures. The highest proportion was dinner 37% and lunch 26%. Meanwhile,snacks and breakfast increased to 21% and 16%.
In terms of added sugar, snacks increased to 42% and overtook dinner. Also, dinner and lunch sharply decreased to 23% and 19%, while breakfast was stable.
