Overall, it can be seen that the pass rates for all majors increased, with the exception of health sciences, which remained stable. While computer science have the highest rate of passing, humanities have the lowest.
In 2008, computer science has the highest rate of passing, with around 70%, while humanities only having less than 5%. Maths & engineering and health sciences have relatively similar proportions of undergraduates passing (around 38% and more or less 42% respectively)
By 2012, every single major passing rates have increased by at least 10%, except for health sciences, which did not change. Computer science and humanities is still the majors that have most (around 84%) and least (approximately 14%) of undergraduates passing, respectively. Businesses have seent he biggest change, increasing an amount of nearly 30%, from around 23% to more or less 52% year 1 undergraduates passing.
