Pie Chart-1
The pie charts illustrate the mean proportions in regular meals of three kinds of nutrients (sodium, saturated fat, and added sugar) in USA, all of which will be unhealthy if eaten excessively.
Overall, according to the pie charts, the American consume higher proportion of all the three main nutrients during dinner, and during lunch they ate moderate level of nutrients whereas least amount is consumed during snacks.
In the contrast, sodium and saturated fat were found havily at dinner time which were more than two fifth (43%) and one third (37%) respectively. In the lunch time, the consumption proportion of all the three nutrients were at the moderate level. In case of added sugar consumption the highest percentage is found at the snacks time which is accounted for more than two fifth (42%).
On the other hand, all of the three kinds of nutrients were found lower percentage during breakfast and accounted for one seventh (14%, 16%, and 16%) respectively. Also, sodium and saturated fat were eaten lowest level at snacks which were one seventh (14%) and one fifth (21%) approximately.
