The following line graph represents the admission rate of international students across three various study programs in the university, such as Science, Engineering, and Art.
Overall, the most popular choice for the international students is science, and such a trend showed almost no difference throughout the decade. The line shows steady growth and peaked at 45,000 in 2018 before leveling off by 2020. The second most popular choice for the international students is engineering. The line also showed a dramatic increase over the 5 years and even managed to outnumber the science program in the time period of 2014 and 2016, reaching the peak student number of 40,000. Despite that, the number of newly admitted engineering students declined over the period of 2017 till 2020.
When it comes to the arts program, the trend is different from both the science and engineering programs. The program showed a considerable increase for the next 3 years. Next, the number of students experienced a drastic decline till 2016, which then the line experienced a dramatic rise till 2020, peaking at the same year with 30,000 students.
