The two map illustrate how a Sawry District neighborhood changed from 1920 to the 2020. Overall, Sawry district has become more upgraded with the introduction of new amenities such as a Prestwich primary school, an apartment, and a lot of houses. Furthermore, several facilities – four houses – were not subjects to changes.
In 1920, the sawry district offered a limited number of its current facilities. The access to the sawry district was from north to east, in the middle of which was located a small house. On Oak avenue, there was four houses, providing visitor oriented for people. Tillebug Bros. Cannery was placed in the north westernmost corner, and a Prestwich primary school and Miller’s lake were located close to the trees was were located the Prestwich primary school and Miller’s lake.
Since then, the sawry district has undergone significant changes. For example, the previous Tillebug Bros. Cannery has gone and its place was office Complex, while surrounding trees remained untouched. Another change was the removal of a Prestwich primary school under of Miller’s lake, which was converted into 20000 petrol station. While Miller’s lake remained intact. The bridge was established adjacent to the Elmwood river, facilitating access for visitors. The final change includes the addition of an apartment in the Oak avenue as the number of visitor has increased.
