Dear Peter,

I am writing to cancel our meeting next week and apologize to you.

I am so sorry I cannot hang out with you in our meeting next week due to my stuff. Yesterday, I received an interview appointment from the company I had applied three weeks ago. This is my chance to work in that company because I have dreamt of it for so long, and that is why I have to participate. Unfortunately, it is the day I had arranged to meet you.

I want to suggest that we will have another meeting on Saturday morning in the next two weeks. At that time, I won’t have any important appointments or any necessary events this month. I can assure you that I will have a joyful time with you on that beautiful day.
