The two maps illustrate how an art gallery has changed since 2005. Overall, the art gallery has experienced significant alterations, the most prominent of which are additional temporary exhibitions, gallery shop, wending machines and interactive children’s area. Further changes have also been made to its stairs to upper floor and entrance.
In 2005, the art gallery had a cafe, shop and gallery office in the north-west section of the gallery. There were three exhibition rooms in the east side. Fourth exhibition room hosted the west side of the gallery. There were stairs to the upper floor. Furthermore, reception desk and Entrance hall was located to the south of it.
At present, the three exhibition rooms were remain intact while the fourth made way to the interactive children’s area. Reception desk and Entrance hall switched their position, former being in the southern side of the layout. Cafe and shop is converted into Gallery shop and there is added some wending machines to the south of it. The area of fourth exhibition room, current children’s are, was shrunk slightly. As a result, it let temporary exhibitions expand. There was also added a lift to the stairs to upper floor. Finally, there is now added ramp to wheelchair’s near the steps.
