The bar chart compares the factors that influence work performance across two different age groups: young adults (18-30) and older employees (45-60).
Overall, it is clear that younger employees are more motivated by growth and advancement opportunities, whereas older employees place a higher value on stable and professional environments, such as having a competent boss. Money and team spirit remain relatively important to both groups.
Regarding the younger demographic (18-30), “Chances for personal development” is the most significant factor, reaching nearly 90%. They also show a strong interest in “Promotion prospects” and a “Relaxed work environment,” both scoring around 80%. In contrast, older employees (45-60) value these same factors much less, with development and promotion prospects dropping to approximately 40% and 50% respectively.
Interestingly, “Competent boss” is the only category where the older group shows higher importance (around 50%) compared to the younger group (roughly 40%). “Money” and “Team spirit” show more balance; both age groups rate money highly at around 70%, and team spirit remains a steady motivator at approximately 60% for both demographics.
