Overall, all statistics witnessed an uptrend. It is of note of that paper and cupboard claimed the top spot whilst plastics ranked last.
In term of alumlninium cans, it commenced at nearly 5%, followed by a strong increase to hit a high at approximately 50% in the 2010s. Via, it was fourfold plastics at the end. Similarly, glass containers began with the third spot at 50% and it was marked downswing at 40% in the beginning of 1990. However, in the following years period, it has a reverse figure when rasing from 40% to 60%. Subsequently, both alumlninium cans and glass containers had some fluctuations but they still claim same spot.
On the one hand, the proportion of paper & cardboard maintained the top spot over all period. It followed by a mild increase to reach at 70% in 2010 while the beginning number was around 65%. The change of plastics was also the lowest percent despite some fluctuations. It increased from nearly 5% to approximately 10%.
