The two plans demonstrate how the town of Shipsmouth has modernized from its opening in 1995 to 2010. Overall, it is clear that Shipsmouth town underwent significant changes between 1995 and 2010.
One notable change is the transformation of the main road adjacent to the city center into a pedestrian walkway, with the construction of a football stadium in 2010 at the front of the road. Additionally, the area where a factory once stood was demolished and replaced with a shopping complex. A new station near the city center was also built in 2010.
Comparing the two pictures, a large portion of the green space was redeveloped into residential blocks. Trees that were originally in different locations were cut down to make way for buildings for residents, and new airways were added. The area at the top of the picture that used to be a church was replaced by a pub in 2010.
