According to the bar chart, in 2008 Japan had the highest life expectancy, with a figure of nearly 82.7 years. It was followed by Korea, where the average lifespan reached approximately 79.2 years. By contrast, citizens of the U.S. lived for about 77.2 years on average, while Indonesians recorded the lowest figures, at just above 70 years.
In contrast, the table shows that the biggest increase marked in Indonesia nearly 14.1 years longer than previous between 1996 and 2008, meanwhile this figure was relatively smaller at about 9.3 years. Furthermore, the rose of lifespan in country Japan was approximately 5.1 years. Finally, increase in share of life expectancy in U.S. compared to the Korea was three times lower nearly at 3.1 years.
