The bar charts demonstrate the proportion of satisfied and non-satisfied students with a few types of facilities at a university in the UK in 2007.
Overall, it can be noticed that the postgraduates were more satisfied than the undergaduates in the most categories. Besides, the most satisfacting facility among the postgraduates was the university cafeteria.
As for the bachelor’s students, the category which they liked the most was the school rooms at university with 62% of the students rated their feelings as “very satisfied”, whereas 25% and 13% of the students described their feelings as “quite satisfied” and “not satisfied” respectively. In the meantime, the undergraduates described their expression of the university cafeteria as “very satisfied” in 52% of cases, “not satisfied” in 26% and “quite satisfied” in 22%. Finally, the bachelor’s students were satisfied with the school facilities in 52% of cases, while proportion of other cases did not exceed 34%.
Turning to the master’s students, the best rated category was the university cafe with 73% of “very satisfied” students,which was nearly four times more than “quite satisfied” and “not satisfied” students together comprising 11% and 16% respectively. Meanwhile, the postgraduates were very satisfied with the school rooms at university in 63% of cases, not satisfied in 23% of cases and quite satisfied in 14% of cases. Additionally, the school facilities was the least satisfing aspect, so 43% of the postgraduates were “very satisfied”, 32% were “quite satisfied” and 25% were “not satisfied”.
