Starting at nearly 10 percent in 2010, the percentage of middle school teachers under 30 years old in Japan rose gradually and reached its peak at over 15 percent in 2017, which was also the highest proportion of the four countries. In 2010, the proportion of teachers in secondary schools under 30 years of age in Luxembourg began at over 5 percent, much lower than in other countries, and grew considerably by nearly 5 percent in 2011 before experiencing a substantial fall to around 7 percent in 2013. The figure then fluctuated around 7 percent and reached over 6 percent in 2017, remaining the lowest percentage of the four different countries.
In 2010, the percentage of secondary school teachers under the age of 30 in Brazil was 20 percent – the highest proportion in the graph. The figure then declined gradually before reaching its lowest point at nearly 15 percent. Beginning at around 18 percent, the proportion of middle school teachers under 30 in Czech Replublic fluctuated between around 14 percent and nearly 20 percent, followed by a gradual fall to under 15 percent in 2017.
