The maps compare how the layout of the conference centre has changed between 2010 and 2025
Overall, the conference centre has witnessed major changes. Additionally, the most noticeable change can be seen in the top, the bottom, and the right-hand side of the conference centre, with many new rooms and facilities being added. These developments aim to improve to accommodate more tourists, residents and provide a better experience for them.
In 2010, the majority of the left-hand side of the conference centre was occupied by a garden area, located directly below the receptionist. In the top left-hand corner of this section, there were two similarly sized rooms. These rooms were perpendicular to a hall, which was situated above the reception. Beside this area was a large car park, lying between the garden on the left and another garden on the opposite side of the conference centre.
Fifteen years later, most of the left-hand side of the conference centre was still occupied by a garden and the reception area. However, this section was expanded to include several new rooms. In the bottom left-hand corner of this building, an IT Centre has been built next to two Meeting rooms. Parallel to these rooms, a game room was added below a newly constructed music room. As more rooms were built in the garden on the left, the car park was relocated to the right-hand side of the centre, replacing the original garden there, which was demolished. At the top of the former garden and car park area, a large residence hall was introduced, occupying the space of 20 rooms. Due to the relocation of the car park, the hall situated above the reception was expanded. The only unchanged areas were the two rooms located in the bottom left-hand corner, which remained the same throughout the period.
