In terms of the student common room five years ago, at the top of the map was a line of cooking devices which supported the cooking purpose, including a cupboard in the top left corner, aside the sink for washing dishes and a couple of benches next to the microwave and the fridge. Furthermore, there were four big tables set up in the centre of the room and the bookshelf located in the bottom right corner.

Moving to the current room, the line for cooking stuff is still located at the top of the room. However, an extra microwave has replaced the place of the bench. In addition, the number of tables has reduced from four to two and one new rectangle table has been added. Furthermore, the location for the bookshelf has been replaced by the television and in front of it are the armchairs. A drink machine and a bench for laptops are the new facilities here when they have been located in the south and northeast of the layout.
