Overall,the highest proportion petrol vehicles registered in 2008 but this trend sharply declined into two fold in 2018. Meanwhile, the lowest proportion of hybrid vehicles registration was recorded in 2008 at 1% thereafter, hybrid will be recorded significant rose at the end of the period. Further, there is no fully electric vehical registration was recorded in 2008.
According to the data given in the pie chart, the highest proportion of petrol was recorded in 2008 at 69% but this petrol vehicle registration erratically declined to 39% in 2018. Beside, the second highest vehicles registration claimed by diesel at 30% in 2008 thereafter, this figure sharply rose to 46% in 2018. Meanwhile the lowest proportion of hybrid vehicles registration was recorded in 2008 at 1% but afterward it slightly increased to 11% in 2018. It is noticeable that there was no full automatics vehicles registration in 2008 but thereafter,4% of vehicles registration recorded in 2018.
When compare with 2028 forecast the highest proportion of fully electric vehicles registration will be recorded in 32% while the second highest vehicles registration will in hybrid. The remaining petrol and diesel vehicles registration will be recorded at 11% and 27% respectively in in 2028.
