As is shown by the chart, meat and coffee consumption is not interrelated and vary considerably. However, countries with low figures for each of the product shown, generally do not have much higher figures for another product.
A total of 122kg of meat and 4 kg of coffee is used annually by the average American, which is the highest figure for meat among 7 countries, but not impressive in terms of coffee drinking. By contrast, Norway has the highest consumption of coffee, amounting to 9kg per person. However, Germans enjoy both coffee and meat extensively, 7 kg and 87kg, respectively.
Both China and Japan are less likely to consume coffee and meat, and the figures for them are the same, around 45kg of meat and 2-3kg of coffee. Similarly, the numbers in Russia constitute 45 kg of meat as well, but its coffee intake is comparable to that of France, at 5kg.
