The bar chart illustrates the average number of study hours that students at five different universities spent studying on weekdays and weekends.
Overall, students devoted significantly more time to studying on weekdays than on weekends. Interestingly, among the universities, University C had the highest average study hours throughout weekdays, while University D recorded the lowest figures at weekends.
During the weekdays, University C reached a peak with an average 10.6 hours. Both University B and University E showed almost the same amount of study time, at 10.1 and 10 hours, respectively. Moreover, students studied at University A and spent average 9.8 hours. Although University D was the lowest among all, still recorded higher study time – 9.6 hours on weekdays.
Turning to the weekends, despite being days off, University A recorded the highest average study time at 9 hours. It was followed by University B with 8.6 hours, while students at University C studied for 7.8 hours on average. By contrast, considerably lower figures were observed in University E and University D, at 6.2 and 5.6 hours, respectively.
