The bar chart provides key information about the New Zealander people, in both genders, who attempted regular physical activity in 2008 among multiple age groups. The units are measured in percentages.
Overall, the amount of women who engaged in physical activity is greater than men throughout different ages. Women percentages generally rose while aging, whereas men fluctuated and only surprassed women in the 14 to 23 age group only.
For the males, initially they were more then women. Afterwards, they started falling becoming less than the other group until the ages 34 to 43. Next, they began to rise steadily while staying with lower percentages than women.
On the other hand, for female proportions, in all group ages they were more than men. Generally, the amount of women who regularly exercised climbed from 46.9% to 48.2%, which means that elderly woked out more than younger girls. However, they decreased slightly in the ages from 54 and above, with nearly same percentages in the 64 and above age group.
