The bar chart illustrates the number of people’ lifetime in four different countries: Japan, Korea, US, and Indonesia, while the table depicts the changes of life expectancy from 1953 to 2008.
Overall, life expectancy in Japan was the highest among other countries, while Indonesia showed the lowest point. In contrast, Indonesian experienced the most common upward trend in life expectancy, following by Koreans showed the second common growth. Japanese and US showed almost similar increase throughout the period.
To be more specific, Japanese people lived the longest period in 2008 with approximately 82 years. Meanwhile, Indonesians lived short-term period with 70 years. Regarding the Koreans and US, both showed almost similar pattern with 78 years for the former and 76 years for the latter respectively.
As for increases in life expectancy, Indonesians went up to 15.7 with the highest increase among other countries. Meanwhile, Koreans rose by 12.5. Moreover US and Japanese people experienced almost similar growth with 3 and 3.5 respectively.
