Overall, it is evident that women exercised less than men in all age groups. The highest number of people that did not exercise was the individuals whose age was above 55.
The percentage of males who did no exercise was lower than females. For people aged 18-24, the number of men indicated just over 10%, whereas the proportion of women showed approximately 18%, almost twice of men’s figure. Among individuals aged 25-34, males represented around 21% and females 26%. A similar pattern could be observed in people aged 35-44, approximately 27% of males and 31% of females who prefered to not exercise.
Regarding the 45-54 age group, the percentage of men and women both illustrated more than 30%, around 32% and 37% respectively. Those who aged 55 or even more experienced a substancial amount of people that do not exercised in this year, the highest figure among all ages. The figure demonstrated 36% for men and around 42% for women.
