Overall, shopping was the most popular activity in both years, while learning and watching TV were the least common. Most activities increased from 2007 to 2009, except shopping, which went down slightly.
In 2007, about 32% of people used the Internet for shopping, and this decreased a little to around 35% in 2009. Banking also became more popular, rising from 25% to 30%. Similarly, the percentage of people listening to music online increased from 20% in 2007 to 28% in 2009.
Job seeking also showed some growth, going from 15% to 22%. The figure for playing games increased from 10% to 18%. Learning online rose from 8% to 12%, but it was still not very high. Watching TV on the Internet had the biggest increase, from only 5% in 2007 to 15% in 2009.
