The chart comparing the data of people who ate five portions of fruits and vegetables for daily intake in the UK from 2001 to 2008. The data is divided by three categories, such as children, men, and women. Women are the one who ate fruits and vegetables the most compared to the other groups.
During 2001 until 2006, the intakes in general are increasing for all segments. The highest point is in 2006, dominated by women percentage accounting for 35% . This number is higher 15% than children’s daily intakes. The childrens and men’s daily intakes of fruits and vegetables are consecutively stable in the first three years from 2001 until 2003.
The intakes for whole categories was gradually decreasing in 2007 except for men’s group are remain constant as 2026 , the daily intakes dropped again in 2008. But after all, the intakes are roughly increasing in 2008 compared to 2001.
