The chart compares the percentage of people who ate five portions of fruits and vegetables per day in the UK from 2001 to 2008.
During 2001 until 2008, the data for daily intakes of the whole groups are fluctuative with the hightest point is 2006 and the lowest point is 2001. From 2001 until 2008, the children’s fruits and vegetables intakes varies in range of 10% until below 30%. For men group the daily intakes was higher than children group with range of 15% until below 30%. Then the highest percentage of eating fruits and vegetables was dominated by women group in span 20% until the peak in 35%.
Overall, the whole groups generally were increasing from 2001 up to 2006. While in 2007, the women category was decreasing, the children category was increasing, and the men category was remains stable. By the 2008, the slope are declining for all groups, but the daily intakes are still higher than year 2001.
