Overall, it is evident that men athletes were dominant throughout the period. While, women athletes showed their activity in the end and number of all participants of olympic increased significantly.
In the beginning number of male athletes stated, at 3.000 and female started with negligible amount. Number of men attenders rose dramatically in next two charts, by 5.000 in 1984. Meanwhile, women competitors number jumped approximately 1.500. In 2012, staggering figure for men, the peak 6,000 participants. In contrast, number of women attenders rocketed doubled higher than previous year’s attendance to 4.500.
Olympic games started with 3,000 athletes. Interesting this rate went up year by year. During 1952 and 1984 number of general athletes improved 1,500 for each. In 2012 Olympic Games participants reached just over 10’000.
