The pie chart illustrate the data comparison between the usage of water to produce agricultural products and the amount of income generated in an Australian region in 2014.
As it can be seen, maximum water is consumed by livestock products. Whereas fruits were generated highest amounts of income.
To begin with, almost 1/3 portion of water was consumed by the livestock products 36% followed by fruit which is 21%. More than half of the water resource used by these two products types. in contrast, Dairy and sugar products categories consumed 19% and 10% of water resources and rice consumed (5%) least amount of water compared to other farming product categories.
However, despite consuming maximum amount of water livestock generated extremely low income (5%) whereas fruits managed to produce 36% of salary.
Interestingly, rice consumed least amount of water although it has generated 19% of income. Furthermore, dairy products has contributed 21% to the income generation, whereas sugar and other products categories managed to produce almost similar amount of income.
