The line graph illustrates data about European individuals of four different age groups who visited the gyms one or more times a month from 1990 to 2010.
Overall, the number of people who visit the gyms rose significantly in all age groups, which grew faster in teenagers but slower in older people.
According to the graph, only 10% of individuals from 18 to 24 who visited the gyms in 1990. This figure then grew constantly to just slightly below 20% after 1994 and experienced an upward trend, passing to 25-34 figure. Peaking at around 58% in 2006 and witnessed a slight decline to 50% after the same year before growing back to 2006 percentage, maintaining its dominant position compared to other age groups. Similar to the 18 to 24 age group, more people between 25 to 34 go to the gym as the time flows, beginning with just 10% and then ending with 50% in 2010.
Both 35-44 and over 45 figures began with just under 10% of visitors, then increased moderately between 1990 and 2006, before climbing sharply to 2010, with 40% of visitors from 35 to 44 and over 20% in over 45 people.
